Dead Ringers is a psychological medical drama miniseries. The show is produced by Amazon Studios, Morgan Creek Entertainment, and Annapurna Television. Dead Ringers is an adaptation of the 1988 David Cronenberg movie of the same name. Executive producer and head writer Alice Birch has an impressive list of writing credits to her name, including Lady Macbeth and The Wonder. She is joined by directors Sean Durkin, Lauren Wolkstein, Karyn Kusama, and Karena Evans who handle the six-episode miniseries.

Leading Dead Ringers is Academy and BAFTA Award-winning actress Rachel Weisz. Weisz takes on the role popularised by Jeremy Irons in the original movie, playing both twins Elliot and Beverly Mantle. Michael Chernus, Poppy Liu, and Britne Oldford all feature in supporting roles. Jeremy Shamos, Jennifer Ehle, and Emily Meade make up the expanded cast.

Dead Ringers was released on Amazon Prime Video. All six episodes were released on April 21, 2023.
