Synopsis

When teenage emotions arrive, there’s a whole new look to headquarters inside Riley’s head

Riley is growing into a young teenager and with that comes a whole new set of emotions. Where before Anger, Joy, Sadness, Fear, and Disgust were in control now they have company. When Anxiety turns up, headquarters are demolished and everything looks set to change for good.

Inside Out 2 is an upcoming animated movie produced by Pixar Animation Studios for Walt Disney. It is a direct sequel to Inside Out and is directed by Kelsey Mann in his directorial debut. Mann has worked as a story supervisor on other Pixar movies such as Monsters University, The Good Dinosaur, Lightyear, and Elemental. The screenplay is written by Meg LeFauve who wrote the original movie and The Good Dinosaur.

Inside Out 2 features Amy Poehler in the role of Joy. Phyllis Smith voices Sadness. Lewis Black voices Anger. Tony Hale plays the character Fear, taking over from Bill Hader who voiced them in the last movie. Liza Lapira steps in to voice Disgust, taking over from Mindy Kaling. Maya Hawke stars as Anxiety.
